This is a drawing I made prior to the animation.
It is from a series of sketches I drew in the hopes of developing a style I liked and found appropriate for my animated music video.

Although this particular sketch is in a style which I like a lot, I quickly found out that,
at 12 frames –drawings – per second, I could not afford to spend so much as 2 minutes
 on each sketch.

This drawing is a lot more detailed, than the former, and, of course, is also one of a skeleton. Therefore, it really wasn't ever considered for the animation.
However, I find it very useful to draw the bones forming the human body, because it reminds me and helps me understand how they correspond to and interact with each other; conveying movement accurately in the animation has become a lot easier, and looks better after experimenting (a few times) using this technique with dancers.
